Physical activity, nutrition and sleep are a few of the main components to health. Often weight loss is the reason these components are brought to attention. These things work in a close interrelationship with each other. More importantly they regulate metabolic health which in turn has a significant bearing on cardiovascular health. Done correctly, metabolic health, cardiovascular health and physical health all become optimal.

*Note: An athlete can have great physical characteristics, yet be in poor metabolic and cardiovascular health. Ideal body composition is not always a reflection of good health, yet a person in good health is most likely to have good body composition.
