Training Programming

Training Programming (plan) takes into consideration an individuals current level of physical preparedness and builds on that through a progressive set of training events.

This includes particular physical activities which provide appropriate intensity, duration and frequency to introduce a stimulus to the body which encourages positive adaption (growth) while avoiding over-training, fatigue, degeneration and injury.

The goals may be simply general physical preparedness or some level of physical performance.

The training programming also takes into consideration the type of training, when it occurs and for how long in order to achieve the progressions and avoid over-training, fatigue, degeneration and injury.

Aside from the evaluation and planning that occurs to achieve the above, TrueCoach is the means used to deliver the training plan.
